Deep geothermal energy in Bavaria: Successful region with best growth prospects

A survey of the German Geothermal Association (GtV-BV) provided current figures on the usage of deep geothermal energy in the Bavarian Molasse Basin. For the "successful region of deep geothermal energy in Central Europe", it included an interim result as well as a forecast concerning the further development. The survey shows that geothermal power not only became an important part of the Bavarian energy policy but also grew to an economic factor of the federal state.
